In the latest episode of Arlington Eats, host Andrew Tanielian visits La Tapatia Ice Cream & Fruteria, located at 1000 E Abram St., Arlington, Texas 76010. The eatery offers sweet and savory fresh foods and snacks.

Miguel Sanchez opened La Tapatia in 2016 after growing up in the food industry.

“My parents have a restaurant here in Arlington for the past 15 years,” Sanchez said. “I was bussing tables in the fifth grade and ever since I was little.”

La Tapatia has two locations, one in The American Dream City, and Sanchez hopes to eventually add another location.

“The customers enjoy everything being fresh and different from what they’re used to just about anywhere, honestly,” Sanchez said.
